Sinners Is Coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026 — And It's Going to Be Terrifying

Universal has just made one of the most exciting Halloween Horror Nights announcements in years, and if you've seen Sinners, you already know why this is a big deal.

The Film That Became a Phenomenon

Released in 2025, Sinners became the highest-grossing original horror film of its era — a record-breaking run of over $370 million at the global box office, 16 Academy Award nominations, and four Oscar wins. Written, directed, and produced by Ryan Coogler, the film is set in 1930s Mississippi Delta, where twin brothers Smoke and Stack return to their hometown to open a juke joint for their community. What starts as a celebration turns to chaos when a troupe of relentless vampires — led by the terrifying Remmick, Bert, and Joan — crash the opening night in a brutal battle for survival.

It's Southern Gothic horror at its finest. And now it's coming to Universal's most iconic event.

What to Expect at the Haunted House

The Halloween Horror Nights house will transport guests directly into Club Juke, the film's central location. Universal promises that nothing is as it seems once you step inside — the nefarious, red-eyed vampires will appear at every turn, and fans will encounter beloved characters from the film including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline, and Cornbread.

Caught in the middle of the deadly struggle between the twins and the vampires, guests will need to survive the night — because the terror won't relent until the sun rises.

John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, described the house as a reinvention of the haunted house format itself: "Just as Ryan Coogler's film re-invented the vampire movie, we are re-inventing the haunted house and creating new ways to scare our guests that we've never attempted before."

Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando, put it simply: "It's rare for a film to fully satisfy hardcore horror fans while also inviting new audiences into the genre — and that's exactly what Sinners does."

Sinners-inspired merchandise is available now at both parks and at shopUniversal.com — including a limited release t-shirt, hat, and acrylic figure inspired by the haunted house.

Why This Matters for Halloween Horror Nights Fans

This is one of the earliest IP announcements Universal has made for HHN in recent years, and it signals that 2026 is shaping up to be an exceptional season. Sinners brings a uniquely atmospheric, culturally significant story to an event that thrives on exactly that — the kind of horror that stays with you long after you've left the park.

If you're even remotely considering a fall trip to Orlando or Hollywood, this is your sign to start planning now. Halloween Horror Nights tickets sell fast, and the most popular nights sell out completely.
